The main environment file read by starkone-panel on startup.

Variable Description
JWT_SECRET Secret key used to sign JWT tokens. Changing this invalidates all active sessions.
PORT Port the panel listens on (default: 2087)
DB_PATH Path to the SQLite database
STARKLAYER_TOKEN Authentication token for StarkLayer (remote monitoring) endpoints
STARKLAYER_ALLOW_IPS Comma-separated IPs allowed to call StarkLayer endpoints

/etc/starkone/starkone.db

SQLite database. Contains all panel state. Do not edit manually - use migrations.

/etc/starkone/.mysql.conf

MySQL root credentials in my.cnf format:

password=<root-password>
host=localhost

Used by the panel to connect to MySQL without exposing the password in process arguments.

/etc/starkone/users_data/<username>/

Per-website configuration directory. Contains:

  • nginx_acl.json - Nginx ACL ruleset for this website
  • Other per-site metadata

/etc/starkone/nginx_acl_public.json

Shared (public) ACL rulesets that can be assigned to any website. Managed via the Nginx ACL plugin.

Read-only panel assets:

/var/log/starkone/

Log directory. The panel writes structured logs here. Rotate with logrotate.

General Settings (Database)

General settings stored in the database (general_settings table) are managed via:

Requires superuser. Notable settings:

Key Description
maintenance_mode Set to "1" to put the panel in maintenance mode
server_name Display name for the server
cloudflare_api_key Global Cloudflare API key
cloudflare_email Cloudflare account email
