Installation

Requirements

Component	Minimum

Disk	5 GB free
CPU	1 core
OS	AlmaLinux 9 / Rocky Linux 9 / RHEL 9 / Ubuntu 22.04 / Ubuntu 24.04
Network	Public or private IP, port 2087 reachable

StarkOne requires root access for installation.

One-Line Install

curl -fsSL https://dl.starkone.io/install.sh | bash

The installer:

1. Detects your OS (AlmaLinux/RHEL family or Debian/Ubuntu family)
2. Installs dependencies (nginx, MySQL/MariaDB if not present)
3. Downloads and installs the StarkOne binary to /usr/sbin/starkone-panel
4. Installs the CLI to /usr/sbin/starkone-cli
5. Creates the systemd service starkone.service
6. Sets up the SQLite database at /etc/starkone/starkone.db
7. Initialises the web UI at /usr/share/starkone/web/
8. Starts the panel on port 2087

Interactive Install

The installer is interactive by default. You'll be prompted for:

• Admin username - the initial superuser account
• Admin password - must be at least 8 characters
• Server hostname - used for panel branding

After Installation

The panel is available at:

http://<server-ip>:2087

Firewall

Ensure port 2087 is open. If you're using CSF, the installer adds it automatically.
